About Looker

Looker is a business intelligence and data analytics platform that enables organizations to explore, analyze, and visualize their data. It helps companies make data-driven decisions by providing interactive dashboards, reports, and real-time insights.

Looker integration with Trelica

Trelica's integration with Looker lists users of your account, including each user's status and roles. Trelica's integration is also able to disabled or delete Looker users. Disabling a user will prevent the user accessing Looker. Deleting a user will also delete all looks and other information owned by the user.

Key Features

  • Groups: Returns additional user context in the form of a user’s group(s) in Looker, including the ability to modify group memberships where supported in the API.
  • Licenses: Syncs SaaS license entitlement and user assignment information, allowing you to manage user access effectively.
  • User Roles: Returns user role assignments in the Looker app, providing clear visibility into user capabilities.
  • Users: Syncs user data, including account status, type, and IDs, augmenting the core user data available from Identity Providers.
  • Manage Users: Supports write actions to (de)provision or modify a user’s group, role, or licenses within Looker.

Key Benefits

  • Streamlined User Management: Easily manage user identities, roles, and group memberships to ensure the right access levels are maintained.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Gain insights into user status, roles, and group affiliations to better manage your Looker account.
  • Improved Security: Quickly disable or delete users to restrict access and protect sensitive data within Looker.
  • Effective License Management: Keep track of user assignments and license entitlements to optimize SaaS spend and resource allocation.
  • Comprehensive User Data: Augmented user data allows for better analysis and decision-making regarding user access and roles.
